The hotel is spotlessly clean and chic. The staff at the reception desk are very professional and competent.- The themed twin room has views of the rooftops.- The room comes equipped with an electronic key card, work desk, and flat-screen TV.- The hotel is conveniently located near the mountains, a mall, and a market.- They offer early check-in and late check-out options.- Parking is available at the building.- The wifi connection is stable.

Extremely convenient and modern accommodation with attentive staff at the reception desk. Unbeatable, magnificent location necessary to arrive to the airport. The hotel of choice in Rio de Janeiro...

The breakfast here is fantastic with a wide variety of options, and the location is excellent - just a block away from the beautiful Copacabana beach!

Very spacious rooms given the shoe box rooms everywhere else on Copacabana beach....

Rooms can be better maintained and more clean.

Our air conditioner did not work the entire stay, we reported it to the front desk 4 times, and it was never fixed. Upon checkout, the manager said "too bad".

Location is OK Wifi and breakfast included in the fee.

It smells really bad. It is definitely not a 4 star. It is a scarce 3 star. Water filtrated into my room as it rained. A lot. Bathroom is old and ugly.

    Breakfast is quite good.

Rooms in low flats are quite better than in higher flats. Internet signal quite low. Breakfast space was little

Great location for the beaches and nightlife.

Hotel looked tired and our first room was much smaller than advertised. We were moved into a bigger room - during our stay we saw a number of cockroaches, the gym was a joke and the whole place is in urgent need of a refurb.

The hotel offers a gorgeous breakfast with a wide variety of options. The staff is accommodating and helpful. The location in the Copacabana area is great and only 1 km from a bronze statue. The overall experience was really nice.

Location, location, location: one block from Copacabana beach and a short walk into Ipanema. The front desk staff were beyond excellent--friendly, caring and attentive!!! They: > accommodated our early check-in request without a problem; > gave great advise on what to do, see and eat; and > followed up daily to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Housekeeping staff were friendly and efficient. The highlights of our accommodations were a firm, very comfortable bed and double shower with plenty of hot water. The breakfast buffet (included in the room rate) was large and very tasty.

Since written reviews on this site start with the cons, I want to preface my comments by saying that we would go back to this hotel ..post renovation, though. The great front desk staff more than made up for any deficiencies described below. The hotel was renovating the pool and permanent restaurant. As a result, the lobby bar had been changed into a temporary restaurant. This wasn't a problem--there are plenty of places to drink in Copacabana and Ipanema--but it would have been nice to know before we finalized our booking. Construction noise was a problem on a few of the mornings and construction debris was constantly a problem in one of the two elevators. WiFi was spotty. The signal wasn't always strong and some areas within our sleeping room had dead zones. Several lights (in the bathroom and in the hallway between the bathroom and bedroom) were blown and/or not functional. It took forever for the toilet tank to fill, which was annoying because it was very loud. This problem was more disturbing than the construction. The breakfast was self-serve from a buffet, but the coffee was served by restaurant staff--and service could be dicey depending on who was working. 90% of the time, you had to ask for the coffee instead of servers coming around regularly (or when diners arrived) to offer it. Over our 2-week stay, I noticed diners getting frustrated with the delay and trying to get it themselves since the service pots were visible on a side table. The restaurant staff would always run them off and then start going around. It reminded me of a game of cat-and-mouse.

The location is marvellous, 3 km from an expansive park. 15 minutes drive to the airport, it is located close to everything. The building is really clean and the rooms are nice designed and modern looking with good view.
